The course runs over 9 consecutive days.
Day 1
Day One is titled Foundations of Birth Support and Pregnancy Physiology. We will explore all physiological changes that occur during pregnancy. You'll learn how to identify challenges and offer effective supportive tools that can balance hormonal changes, body position, mental changes, muscle tone changes, and fluid circulation and hands-on practice of pregnancy massage.
Day 2
Day Two is dedicated to Pregnancy Massage Techniques and Hands-On Practice. We'll spend the day mastering specific massage strokes and positioning to ensure comfort for the expectant mother.
Day 3
Day Three is Pregnancy Yoga and Mindful Movement. The focus here is on how yoga supports fetal development, mood, and a healthy pregnancy.
Day 4
Day Four covers Trigger Points for Birth and Chinese Medicine Philosophy, where you'll learn to understand the purpose of trigger points and practice techniques in different birth positions.
Day 5
Day Five is Nutrition to Support a Healthy Pregnancy. We'll cover how to maintain sufficient amounts of essential vitamins and minerals through natural dietary sources to support both mother
and baby.
4pm - 6pm
Aromatherapy for pregnancy- the use of essential oils and their integration into pregnancy massage,birth and postpartum.
Day 6
Focus on Craniosacral Therapy for Maternal Health and Recovery. The knowledge will be delivered by Jane Duncan, a qualified osteopath nurse and craniosacral tutor.
Day 7
Day Seven is dedicated to Postpartum Massage and Closing the Bones. We'll explore unique healing treatments that integrate traditional bone-closing techniques with gentle massage to support physical healing and emotional reflection.
Day 8
Day Eight includes a full day of practice from nine to three to repeat all the touch modalities, followed by reflexology for pregnancy from three to six for gentle support to relieve stress, anxiety, and pain.
Day 9
Day Nine focuses on Hypnobirthing and Meditation, where you'll learn how these practices help release fears and conditioning to empower the birthing process.
• In each block, the participants will enjoy Daily ceremonial cacao, Yoga, stretches and Sauna to create a supportive and enjoyable learning experience
